When I started my business, I originally never thought that clients could turn to life long friends. When I met Paulina & Billy in 2020, it was truly in an instant connection. I felt like I was friends with them forever with how warm, welcoming and kind they are. Since then, I’ve gotten to see them from before they got engaged, to capturing their wedding, and now documenting the pregnancy if their first baby.
I’ve cherished our friendship so tenderly throughout the years. And this maternity session was something so much more special. Getting to watch the smiles radiate off of their faces out of pure joy & excitement of what’s to come in the next 2 months. I never thought their love could be so much more infectious until now.
The week of their session was nonstop forecast of rain. And the night before, it was forecasted to have the lowest chance of rain at sunrise so we went for it. On the way over, we all were driving in a downpour. We got to Spring Lake, sat in our cars, and decided what the hell. We’re here, let’s make the best of it, and let’s have some fun even though it’s misting. 15 minutes later, the rain stopped & at the end we were blessed us with some sun peeking through the clouds. Even though we didn’t get the perfect sunrise or had the perfect golden light, we made the best of the weather and were given some of my favorite photos ever. I cannot wait to meet baby Jones this summer!!
