Savannah Georgia Engagement – Sam + Nick

When you envision your engagement session, do you ever want it to feel straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie? Because that’s exactly how I feel about Sam + Nick’s engagement session in Savannah Georgia.

For starters, everywhere you turn in Savannah Georgia is absolutely breathtaking. It has so much character, history and beauty through it’s little center town and beyond. Sam + Nick are from New Jersey. Sam’s parents had moved to Savannah Georgia a few years ago. When it came to their engagement session, they wanted to capture it in a place that’s sentimental to them – their second home.

Getting to travel to Savannah for Sam + Nick was an honor to say the least. Because I was flying in, I gave them free range of as many locations + as long of a shoot as they wanted. Needless to say, we spent the whole day shooting but it truly didn’t feel like it. I’ve known Sam since college and her and Nick are truly the sweetest kindest people. I didn’t want them to feel overwhelmed with photos, so we mixed a bit of sight seeing with frolicking through some of the oldest, most historic parts of the city. All the while capturing their love – effortlessly and authentically like a Nicholas Sparks movie.

I will absolutely be returning to Savannah in the future. And in case you’re curious, yes the pralines + peaches are a must to have when you’re there.
